Post Earls S.S. Brake Lines

Quick question, I'm getting ready to overhaul my brakes on my 98 WS6 and I was looking at Earls S.S. Brake Lines. Does anyone know if the set comes with Traction Control or Non-Traction Control The Russell's S.S. Brake Lines (I think that was the name) I was looking at specifically asks if you have T/C or not and Earls doesn't specify ...

Thanks for any help,

I use Techna-fit lines on my car--and they come in set for cars with and without TCS/ASR both.

The non-traction control set are here: http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...=194&ModelID=7

Traction control set can be found here: http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...=194&PartID=77

I also sell Russel lines, but they are more expensive and don't have the free shipping. I run the Techna-fit lines on my own car.

As long as you don't have to deal with Techna-fit on the phone. The one time I dealt with the woman on the phone over there.. I decided I won't by techna-fit anymore. Completely miserable b*tch that wouldn't help me and just wanted to get me off the phone as soon as possible. I had to twist her arm to give me a damn shipping quote.

Post SS Lines

Sam,
How long have you had'em on your car? Any problems at all??? I keep hearing about the connection to the calipers or steel line (not quite sure)... just asking to help determine what to decide on.

Thanks,

Steve

When I purchased and installed my Earl's set last September, they said that they stopped making them in DOT approved trim. They apparently stopped making them and I got one of the last street sets.

Dang that guy was lucky. His lines a single braid and cheap fittings? Guess I really don't cheap out on my car. I change out parts often depending on its usage. Well after a thorough inspection.

BTW. Quality don't mean pricey. Compare materials used testing involved and input from actually users. Mitchntx and Sam Strano both have huge amounts of experience on and off the track with products like This.

No problems at all, been on the car since 2006. Went on after a Russell line broke at a fitting (but the LF had taken a shot that probably weakened it). But since I had to replace them, I tried these---and no problems.

I think I tried to, but I only needed a front line and some more crush washers and you said you can only sell the package. No biggie though. I won't call them directly again though that's for sure
