Default suspension rattle...is this normal?

hey all, ive got an adj phb, relocation brackets, adj lca's, edlbrock trq arm, stock shocks and springs. I noticed that when i go over rough pavement like cobblestones, or the like, eventhough they'll have a smooth surface, the rear suspension will rattle as if there's something loose, and i had it all installed a few weeks ago. What could be rattling?

Any of the things you mentioned can cause it. I would check the torque on all of them.

If you have rod ends, it's normal.

+1 I had a little rattle after installing some suspension parts, re-torqued and been fine ever since.

If some parts that are installed while on a lift and weren't pre loaded could work a little loose & rattle.

i re-torque/checked the bolts on my rod/rod parts every few months. still rattled and shacked like a bitch but they were tight.

Looks guys, your replacing stock, cheap, flimsy stamped steel suspension pieces and soft rubber bushings with polyeurethane, solid rod ends, and chromoly or tubular steel pieces.

The **** is going to rattle, no matter what. The stock stuff was made to be cheap and soft, you replaced it with hardcore stuff.

Torque it all down with thread lock, the suspension loaded, and lubed or greased and it's going to rattle. That's the tradeoff you get.
