Exclamation couple of brake questions

Hey all, I just replaced my rear brakes with OEM style rotors and ceramic pads. I have a few questions regarding installation and break in. First, I installed the pads with the wear indicators facing in, despite logic. This is the way they were installed when I took the old ones out, so I stuck with that. Is this wrong? Next, the left rear seems to be breaking in at a much faster rate then the right rear. Is this normal? The heat created by the left rear is also much greater, almost to the point where it seems abnormal. This is my first brake install and I searched through everything. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance.

No, that is not normal. Did you lube the sliders? That side might be sticking.

yep, everything is lubed and went together smoothly. its almost like im just not getting any pressure to the piston. i'll probably take it apart and check for anything strange. also, do the wear indicators face in or out? thanks for the reply.

you may have a brake hose collapsing from the inside.

i finally got it all figured out. the clip that goes into the caliper wasn't in all the way and it was causing the pads to really bind on the rotor. thanks for all the help guys.
