Default Overweight camaro tips?

So I'm planning on doing a little road trip over the 4th with myself and 3 friends. Driving the 97z A4 vert, DD. The 4 of us and our gear are gonna be at least 100 lbs or so over the max 700 lbs. in the passenger area. Without getting too much into it, I've broken some trans mounts before and I now have polyurethane mounts.

Is there anything I need to worry about driving this thing overweight (other than losing races?) also, any suspension components I could install to improve ground clearance or handling as a heavyweight?

Cool link on the strano parts, I might actually consider that...

And yeah on 4 adults in a Camaro is definitely not comfortable. It's only 300 miles though. I figure one advantage is that in the Camaro a 5 hour drive turns into a 2 hour one

I know I would have rather drove my Camaro than my gf's Elantra on the vacation we took a few years ago. One thing I like about the Camaro is the ability to rest your foot on the gas pedal without gravity forcing it to the ground. I personally think the Camaro doesn't make that bad of a road trip car.

I consider my car a two seater with emergency rear seating. Kids under 5 ft. & 100 lbs. is all that should ever have to tolerate sitting in the backseats for any length of time. I find Long drives aren't a problem for two adults and a couple of small kids, otherwise I use a car designed to carry 4 adult males that's what I do.

IMO, run at least 35psi in you tires with all that weight.
