Default Sway bar end-links...question.......

I bought some new ones the other day....the fronts and rears all look the same length and pretty much the same bushings and all.

Is that right?

Also, do they go on dry.....or do you put anything on them....grease?

If the sway bar mounts are in the stock location (not dropped) the end links are the same length front and back as far as I recall. You don't don't grease the end link bushings.

It's probably not really necessary, but I smear a little grease on the bolt, at the point where the spacer tube goes over it, just so the two metal parts slide easier, and don't rust together.

Hello
I would not suggest greasing the end links. That just will attract dirt and road grim. But the body mounting bushings are another issue they need it. But once again the end links don't really need it they don't move up and down when they are tighten. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Thanks
Brad

I here people say that the front and rear end links are the same size and some people say they are not, the ones I have are not the same. The front end links are 2 7/8" (length of spacer) and the end links that come in prothane's rear sway bar kit is 1 7/8". I recently went to a 1 5/8" rear link which fit a bit better since my car is lowered. Even if you go to spohn's website you will see the part numbers for the front and rear sway bars are different.
