Default on car adjustable LCA's?

If you are having trouble hooking up, would you want to be able to adjust your LCA's in or out? What are you buying by being able to adjust the LCA's?

Adjusting them longer or shorter itself won't help you hook. They allow you to center your wheel in your wheel well.

They help you hook by being more ridgid than the stock stamped junk when your car tries to plant the tire to the ground as you accellerate. Also, if you have adjustable LCA brackets, you can adjust the geomety to make your car hook better. But there is no "fix one, fix all" setting. Each car needs its own trial/error.

As stated, it allows you to center the wheels in the wheel well - if you wanted to run some huge tires out back (like 28" diameter), this would become important. You can also make sure that the thrust angle is correct. That's about it. Being able to set the angle with relocation brackets would probably buy you more than adjustable length LCAs.

a set of shocks, a good torque arm, lca's and relocators will get you going. a proven working combination on these cars and all bolt-on parts. PM or call me if you'd like to go over what you'd like your car to do and I can get you set up with the right parts the first time and at a great price.

Some people like to say that the adj, LCAs "allow you to center the wheels in the wheel well". That's all well and good, assuming the body panels are hung on the car symmetrically. Better idea is to get the car on a 4 wheel alignment machine, and use the adj. LCAs to set the "thrust angle" to "zero".....
