Default Strange noise after C5 Brake Upgrade

I seem to have some unusual noise on the front of my car now after upgrading to C5 front brakes. Firstly I have made lots of other upgrades and this could be completely a completely different problem.

When I drive the car forward and hit the brakes there is a loud clunking noise. After it does this once it doesn't do it again so something must be "bottoming out". It also does this in reverse and can be replicated at low speed as well.

The brakes and all the associated brackets are tight. I'll be getting the car up in the air today to see if I can find the problem.

Anyone have any ideas on this? I'm thinking it could be any of 100 things.

sounds like you might be rubbing the inner part of your wheel against the caliper. pull the wheel off to check.

Yea, I had to grind off a little on the caliper for clearance. Check the caliber for rub

I don't think I have a clearance problem on the caliper. Where were you hitting? I'm using stock WS6 17" wheels.

I actually am now thinking the BMR torque arm is binding in the silicon bushing in the front. I'll check the wheels tho...
