Default Global West braided brake lines

I was just curious if anyone was using Global West brand braided brake lines.

They have a set that says covers 93-02 so if that is the case they may be a good option for guys with LS1 front brake swaps on LTX cars.

I bought a set but havent installed them yet. I will post results after
I get them installed.

I have the Goodridge ones on my SS -- I love the improved pedal feel. But unfortunately, the stock retaining clips weren't compatible with the Goodridge connections -- how important are they, if at all?
