Default Earl's Solo Brake Bleeders

Anyone out there tried these puppies? If so, do they really work? Do they leak? Do they maintain brake feel? They're relatively a cheap add-on.

My $0.02 worth....Any of the "speed bleeders" will work as long as (A) the sealant used to seal the threads between the bleeders and calipers remains pliant, and continues to seal; and (B) the bleeders don't ingest any dirt or foreign matter, that will cause the check ball to hang up. Either one of these conditions fail, and you'll get air sucked back into the caliper.

Do I have them? Yes, on two of my cars. Do I trust them? Only if I can't get my wife out to the garage to pump the brakes for me, and it's an absolute necessity that I bleed the line(s).

I'm an "old timer" and still have a 30 year old Plews "bleeder ball" (power bleeder), one of the greatest inventions for brake bleeding, but not good for the newer ABS systems....

Thanks. Never used them before. Like you, I've always done the "old fashion way". BTW, I've tried the "wife thing" before......never a good experience for me. lol

I've had them on all my performance vehicles that have required frequent brake fluid changes.

Awesome bleeders, makes bleeding a snap, literally takes minutes. After getting them on the brakes, I now have one on my slave cylinder. No problems bleeding here.
