Default Moving the steering rack 1.25". Cons?

Was looking in the turbo section and found this
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...ok-inside.html

Basicly says:
what I did was easy.....

slide rack over towards driver side aprox: 1.25" and wallah !!! enough clearance for a 4.5" pipe
I will relocate the rack mounting taps over as needed
and if you can see in pics, there a exhaust flanges on heads which will soon to be up & foward mount headers after I fab them up!

steering shaft does not bind and only things needed are:
1. relocate mounting tabs to the right
2. 1.25" shorter tie rod on driver side
3. 1.25" longer tie rod on pass. side
(both available @ your nearest NAPA store)

Do you guys see this causing any problems? Steering wise?

Default

By altering the pivot locations of the rack and the lower A-arms you could be in for bumpsteer issues.

Interesting idea though
