Default After blowing rivets on upper arm ball joints what do u use to hold new ones in place

They told me it doesnt come with screws....they might be wrong...
should i buy a rivet gun? the original rivets look a lot more heavy duty than what u see at the stores with the rivet guns....

anyone replaced theirs recently with some experience?

If the replacement doesn't come with the hardware, I'd get a different one. If the company was too cheap to include the necessary hardware I'd be suspicious of the quality of the joint itself.

My ball joints are original at 159k miles and still tight... *knock on wood*

ya i was gunna say bolts. watched an episode of musclecar tv on spike a while back and they were replacing old ball joints on something or another and they drilled out the rivets and put bolts in place to make future replacements easier, so the title brought that back to my memory.

NO.......

I'm not proud to admit it, but I work part time for one of the national auto parts chains. We sell Moog ball joints and the "cheap stuff". When somebody comes in and asks for a suspension part, we ask, "Do you want something to last for a year, or something to last a lifetime?"

Lifetime answer gets Moog parts...... (although Spicer, I believe, is part of the Federal Mogul group, which owns Moog)

YES, all the parts for installing the b/j SHOULD be included in the box!!

everything from autozone has a lifetime warranty. It doesnt mean its a good piece. lol. Buy a good part and you wont have to worry about any warranty.

Ok Cool im gonna cancel them....I dont like to do things twice and a year from now I dont want to visit this.....truth be told the stockers that are there have 92K and their tight but the boot is torn and stuff...so I figured let me just replace...but im sure they could ride some more.
Im gonna look for moog or spicer.
Glad I asked on here.

Moog should be available from Oriellys. You should be able to grab all the bushings & ball joints in Moog brand from them. But its gonna cost you around $300 for all new bushings & ball joints upper & lower all together.
