Default Rotor Help - Anyone seen or used these??

So I have been wanting to upgrade my rotors for awhile and came across these on WS6store - http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...oducts_id=3514 -

Anyone ever used them or had any experience with them? Trying to figure out if it will be worth it. I want them for use but also for appearance ... I have smoothie 2s that are black but they are about to be repolished soon so I do not want it to look horrible. Any and all opinions are welcome.

Many people on here have used WS6 Store rotors with very good success. Really haven't heard any complaints at all.

Those appear to be a zinc plated version, which is even better.

I would not hesitate to purchase them, especially for that price.

Just keep your eye out for cracks in the holes over time. That's the main risk to keep in mind. For appearance reasons you won't be doing any insane braking, so you should be ok.

Along that line... I have a picture of a set of these that came through here on a 2000 WS6 that y'all might want to see. I can't link it, because I haven't posted it anywhere. If you send me your e-mail I can zip you a copy.

I believe there are numerous better choices. I also believe you get what you pay for.

Looks like these can be ordered without the holes, just slotted.

Drilled and slotted are just for looks.. they in no way perform better than a blank rotor... holes crack and the slots eat ur pads faster.. BrakeMotive on here has some good deals. I believe I bought 4 zinc plated slotted (yes I wanted the look lol) rotors and ceramic pads front and rear for $240 shipped.

I've had these rotors and Hawk HPS pads since 2006 and 40k miles; no problems at all. No cracks, no warps, nothing. I would buy them again.

I think I might have figured a way to get the picture up.... Yep... here it is. Notice there are small heat cracks, this can and does happen to steel when it's heated and cooled (and admittedly these rotors weren't driven to church). But none of rotors that went on the car after (that all heat checked too) ever cracked that that....

It's a bit more, but I spent $225 for a set of front Baer DecelaRotors that are slotted and drilled. They also came with a three year warranty against warping/cracking. I love them, and will probably do my rears eventually. Rears are $214, but like Sam said, you get what you pay for.

if these cars were lighter and had half the horsepower, i could see spending $200 on 4 rotors.

i got sick of posting pictures of my cheap rotors (purchased from same vendor) but they looked worse than the pic strano posted. along with the heat cracks, they also had chips around the drilled holes. this was just from aggressive street driving on street tires.

i can drive twice as hard with sticky tires on brembo blanks and haven't had a single issue with them. my pads are lasting longer too (that alone almost negates the price difference).
