Default Energy Suspension Install

Kinda feel like an idiot for asking this question but here it goes.
Just ordered this set for my 02 Trans am.
http://www.jegs.com/i/Energy%20Suspe...0002/-1?CT=999

Its the whole kit from energy suspension. my old bushings (most likely the originals) are making to much squeaking noises and its driving me nuts.

My Question is can i being a college student get this done in a weekend?
with out the use of power tools? or would i need them or would it make it alot
more easier to replace?

the Squeaking noise only happens when i go thru a bump or dip and etc.
So i know its something with the front suspension.
And since im replacing those. i might as well replace everything right?

Any tips on installing these bad boys would help alot.

Depending on what all you're doing, you might need a press to get some of the out (like the LCA bushings) or you can just burn/drill them out. Wouldn't use the poly bushings on the front control arms as they're known to bind.

If you're changing everything (LCA and panhard rod bushings, sway bar bushings and end links, torque arm bushing and trans mount, control arm bushings) a full weekend would be optimistic with access to a press or drill to remove the old bushings if you've never done it before.

Well, the Summit link is **** since it shows a picture of a car with a leaf spring rear...what all actually comes in the kit? Like I said, the front a-arm poly bushings are known to cause bind, so I wouldn't install those, just go with Moog replacements.

I installed that whole kit on my car and I haven't had any problems with binding. If I were you take the a-arms to a shop and have the bushing pressed out and new ones pressed in. If I were to do it again that what I would do

That's going to be real tough to get done in a weekend without a lot of experience and tools. I do all my own work otherwise, but I take bushings to a shop with an air hammer and press.

But if you want to do it yourself, start with the rear lower control arms. They should be easiest and quickest and give you an idea how fast the rest will go.

You could pick up a used set of front upper and lower control arms and put the bushings in those first before swapping them in, it would save a ton of downtime. Not much extra cost if you sell your old ones afterwards.

The front will need to be aligned when you're done.

One way to do it without fire is to take a drill and start drilling holes through the bushing, until there's enough gone that you can knock the rest out with a socket and hammer.
