Default Thinking about buying Moser axles? Don't ...

I cannot believe the amount of flex in the flange of that axle. Not the end play, the flex from the outer bearing to the rotor face.

According to the owner of said axles, Kip Hayden, VP of Moser, said that he saw nothing wrong in the above video.

Does the axle tube also look like it's flexing up/down...?

Where was the camera mounted...?

Wow, I know some guys are having issues with torsional twist along the long axis, but I never thought they'd flex that much at the outboard end in cornering.

Did anyone take a vid of the stock axles or any other brand? Not to defend Moser but maybe the flex is normal for that area. Seeing that still makes the butthole pucker though!

Doesn't it though?

The issue was discovered trying t solve severe pad knock-back.

The owner replaced the Mosers with Superiors and the knock-back issue went away.

The reason OEM axles were replaced in teh first place was cracking around the backing flange.
