Default Clunking noise after Bilstein SLP Install

Installed the shocks yesterday and when I got to drive it today, I get a clunking noise when I hit a bump. It's coming from the passengers side rear area.I checked to make sure that the spare tire, etc wasn't lose and it was ok.Wasn't making the noise until I installed them. There isn't any sort of noise on smooth surfaces and drives really good.I used an allen wrench while tightening the bolt so it wouldn't turn, but could there still be a little gap causing the noise.Let me know you suggestions on things to check. The springs are stock.

It seems that your last install is the problem. Recheck the shock is centred in the mount in the rear seat area and that the bushings are installed correctly- bushings sandwiching the steel. Obviously tightness of the top shock bolt should be verified. Maybe the shock is bouncing because it is loose? The bottom bolt at the rear axle is easy to check - is it mounted securely through the hole and torqued? Failing that, perhaps the stock springs or top isolator fell out of position when the axle was lowered and drooped to the point where they were dislodged? I think you'll find it was something small like that GL!

Finally got to pull that side that the noise was coming from and found out that the top shock nut wasn't tightened all the way down. All is good now.
