You can find general information about the UMI conversion kit on their website. I have attached the UMI instructions for installing their C5 conversion kit in a pdf document.
I actually went with the LG Motorsports conversion bracket instead of UMI's, but UMI was nice enough to email me their installation instructions to give me a feel of how these things install (since LG sends absolutely no instructions). The prospect of doing a C5 conversion was daunting for me at first, but by taking my time and checking out the resources on this website, I was able to do it.

I dont have UMI's kit, but i do have C5 brakes. They are without a doubt one of the best mods you can do for an LT1 car. You having an LS1 wont see as much of a step up as i did. But there awesome. just make sure your running atleast 17" rims up front

Not to Hijack the thread but I also will be doing this soon does anyone know a thread that has step by step of doing this on an LT1 spindle? I searched but no luck.
