Default traction control on Formula???

i want to put a traction control module unit from a 98-02 t/a on my 2000 formula, would i have to get a whole new dash harness or do i have the plug for it in there already? if anyone has done this is it easy or more of a pain in the but then is worth dealing with? Thanks.

Factory traction control is lame, a nuisance and barely useful
in real traction limited situations. Save the effort. It will need
you to swap over whole brake system and rear end as well as
the "brain", "gizmo" and throttle cables. Too hard for nothing
much.

if your car didnt come with TC, then its alot more complicated than just plugging in the TC switch. non-TC cars have 3 ruluctor rings (2 on front hubs, 1 on the ring gear), TC cars have 4 reluctor rings, 1 at each wheel. ABS is also programmed different and an the TC module is needed

I have TCS on my RS (not my SS) and it IS useful at times on wet pavement, and pretty much terrible/worthless in icy/snowy roads! The 5th Gen has a much more usable system...

If you had TCS on your car, what would it do for you. The version on these cars was 1st gen stuff and essentially worthless. I had to wait 9 months to order a car from the factory way back when with the system NOT installed. I didn't want it then and haven't missed it.

I have TCS on my 2001 WS6 and it hasn't really helped me out significantly. There has been a time or two that it engaged, but it has never saved me as those were part throttle situations anyways and low speed.

I haven't mustered the gumption to tear it out yet, but I definitely would NOT go through all the effort of getting it installed.
