Default brake upgrade and wheel size

I just got through reading most of the brake upgrade sticky and want to know if any of those upgraded rotors and calipers will fit behind a factory Firehawk wheel? I'd rather not spend more money on wheels and tires if I don't have to. Thanks.

General rule is 4" + rotor diameter.

i.e.:
14" rotors require 18" wheel
13" rotors require 17" wheel
12" rotors require 16" wheel

Thank you for the info. I will go back and review the sticky.
EDIT-I gave it a quick look and it seems that I may be able to do the C5 brake upgrade except that the C5 rotor is 12.5 inches in diameter. Will that be a problem with my factory 16 inch wheel?

I'm pretty sure the minimum wheel size for the c5 conversion is 17".

I'm also pretty sure factory Firehawk wheels were 17x9, but I may be wrong on that. Are you sure you have 16" wheels?

12.5+4 = 16.5 = yes

Actually I think the stock C5 are 12.8, Z06 are 13.1

And yes, you will need a 17" wheel.

My stock 17" SS wheels just clear.

For some unknown reason, I had it in my head they were 16" wheels. They are 17. Now I can start planning the brake upgrade.

It seems the Z06 rotors are slightly larger. Are they worth it to use them instead of the regular C5 rotor?
