I used UMI clamps, much bigger, beefier and less gheto, with a 1" spohn sway bar, I needed the clearance for the center "pumpkin" area of the axle houseing. Worth the $75.oo's

$75? Ouch. It just needs to let the bar rotate.
My u-bolts broke when I changed bushings, I picked up replacements for a couple bucks at a dealer. I might be able to pull up the part number if you need it.

I don't know the size. I looked at some stores when I needed one, its not a common size.
