Default pinion angle ?

Ok so I lowered my car about 1" and I was wondering if I need to adjust my pinion angle and if so what shoul it be set to. I have an adjustable t-arm and at factory height I had it set at -2*.

You need to get back under your car and check it again.

-1.5 is a very good starting point for pinion angle.

-1.5 to -2 degrees is generally a good starting point. You seem like you are already familiar with adjusting the angle but if if not our video can be very helpful to visualize the procedure.

Ok it says to add the rear end number to the drive shaft number. I thought you were supposed to subtract it? Im having a problem with my pinion angle too with the rear end whining when i let the car roll in neutral and im wondering if my pinion angle is off because i subtracted the two and not added.

i found that video to be kinda misleading...basically its the difference between the angles so visualize your driveshaft as a reference plane..your rear should have the yolk side of the rear tilted 2 degrees, or so, downward.

Ok so on a lowered car the pinion angle is still set to -2 *. Not a problem.
