Default torque arm bushing removal

im trying to replace my torque arm bushing but i cant get this thing apart, i have the cross member off and one bolt out and the trans slightly lowered. but the bolt on the top there is no clearance to remove it. Its to long by about an inch. ill try to get some pics in a sec but any ideas ?

thats as far out as it will come if i raise the trans back up its less and it wont really go any lower

A4 or M6?

I have an M6, and I think I had to remove the whole bracket to get it off.

Lower the tranmission as far down as you can and you should be able to sneak it out.

I ended up just leaving it in and drilling otu the rivets while it was still bolted to the car.

yeah i ended up leaving it in, i couldnt really get a drill in there to get it out and my grinder was very hard to move the fuel line was right there so i took my drimmel and put a cutting wheel on it and got them off. i cut the bracket of the old bushing by the rivet and pryed them off and then cut the rivets flush with the mounting hardware. it was a pain to get them off.
