Ive confirmed its not fluid level and its not the hand brake switch. The brake lights come on and it still stops ok.

Ive check the brake switch and its ok. I can start the car anf the hand brake light works fine but once the car moves forward or backward, it come on. I havent even released the clutch just let it roll and my hand is on the hand brake making sure it doeant move.

Any thoughts?

Does your ABS light still work & or does that come on as well?

Are you talking about the "BRAKE" light on the dash?

If so, this light does two things:
- Tells you when the parking brake is on.
- Tells you when your brake system is hosed.

Have you checked the level of your brake fluid?

As stated, fluid level fine and switch checked and operating correctly.


I did fix it with a pcm ign fuse pull and reset. It was weird cuz it didnt do this on dyno

Odd... Not sure how rebooting the PCM would fix a problem like that? Maybe its an intermittent issue? (My understanding is the Service light is the only one that comes on with PCM interaction/codes.)
