Default UCA Moog Bushing Q's

I recently ordered two K6689 bushing kits from Amazon for my suspension rebuild.

The box came in with a single bushing in it.

1) Should there be two?

2) If not, how many bushings are on our cars for the UCA's? Two, right?

I'm thinking I either need to yell that I got jipped a bushing, or order two more... but at $20 a piece I would think there should be two in the damn box...

According to RockAuto.com the K6689 part number should have 2 bushings per box, they are $17.02 + shipping.

Since it says bushing kit I would assume it should be two. That part number on every other site shows 2. There are 4 bushing total

Yeah, I ordered off of Amazon for the free shipping. (It was sold "by Amazon", not a 3rd party) I'm now realizing attempting to fight the fact that I am missing a bushing is going to be far more effort....

Actually, amazon is really good about fixing orders and returns. If you just wanted to return it and order from another site they will give you a prepaid label and have you use the same box to ship it back, just say that the order was not as described. I did the same thing with some Centric Premium rotors that I order from amazon, one rotor was new and the other as like 5 years old (according to the build date) and rusty, they took it back no problem.

Well, interesting update. I called my local Advance Auto Parts and had them look inside the box they had in stock, and they told me the K6689 bushings come "One per kit". Indeed, the second K6689 showed up today, also with only one in the packaging.

I've reached out to MOOG (Federal Mogul) and Amazon trying to determine why this is, when the MOOG online catalog indicates the same # of pieces per side as the lower K6490's (which come in two's). (EDIT: RockAuto is indeed indicating two per box on their site. I've emailed them for more information.)

If it's true they come one per box, at $20 a piece (free shipping) that's highway robbery when the lower kit comes with both bushings, which are larger, and made of the exact same materials for only $8 more.

for that price you might as well buy some aftermarket tubular upper a-arms for $170 since you will have to spend $80 on bushing and however much to have them pressed in.

Direct from RockAuto:

"Thank you for your email. I can confirm that Moog part # K6689 Control Arm Bushing Kit is in fact two. Quantity as shown in image is correct."

Well folks, buy your parts from RockAuto.

It's been years since I bought them but they were certainly 2 to a box when I did.

sounds like a more direct approach, and for not much more money.
