I remember reading a few months ago about how some of you used a certain type of hose to go over some of the rear springs for the Pro Kit to keep the rake a little and not make it look like the rear is too low. Does anyone have more info on this? I searched around but can't find the info anymore!
FWIW, the rear drop is slightly more than the front to improve weight distribution. Actually it should sit about level after the drop, but the smaller fender cutouts in the rear can give it the appearance of sitting lower in the rear.
But the damned springs are too soft, and the rear sags too much and cuts my rear tire . . .
No disagreement there. I ended up replacing my rear Prokits with Hypercoils due to bottoming. They're significantly stiffer and the drop is virtually identical to the Prokit rears. I'm quite happy with this setup until I get my coilovers
So putting the hose over part of the coil... will raise the back up a little bit so it at least appears to rake down in the front?
I am actaully having great luck with my pro kit, it looks slightly lower in back but the ride is incredible. I also put bilsteins all around and took it for a 1400 mile trip, it road great, no complaints here
