F-Body to handle like a Z06.............
Is it possible to make it happen?
Look at my sig, what esle would I need to have to get close to a Vette, if its even possible at all.

Aren't the HALs a drag shock? Might be a bit
short on damping, for a slalom car. No mention
of stronger sway bars I can see, those with the
G2 spring drop should make it a pretty flat ride
though you might have to play with front vs rear
diameters to get the most neutral cornering
(esp. under power?). The IRS excels on broken
/ uneven pavement but I think the clean-pavement
handling is more about center of gravity (are you
as low as you want to be?), weight bias (anything
you could stand to lose off the nose?), body roll
(the sway bars) and tires.
The choice of center chunk may fight against good
power cornering if it's -too- limited-slip and the turn
is too sharp; do you overrun its ability to differentiate
and lose traction in turns?

Since you have LG's stuff, I would get his swaybars. Also a Spohn torque arm and a set of Koni shocks. I have all of Hotchkis' suspension stuff, plus a Spohn and Granatelli springs w/ koni SA's. Lots of cash but well worth it. I can't believe how well the car handles now. Body roll is gone, no brake dive and the steering is very tight. It's so fun to drive now, and it's actually not too harsh over bumps. I've got a few hours driving a C5, and on the street (I know, the track would be different) I really can't tell a huge difference.

You will not get any where near a Z06 in terms of comfort, ride quality, and performance numbers. IRS is a huge benefit. The Corvette is a much better engineered car for handling than the F-body...thats why they are twice as much.
