Default Help with sway bar link

So i feel like a dumbass, but i cant seem to put my new polyurthane front sway bar link kits on. The car is lowered, and i jacked it up, put it on jackstand and the front suspenstion is free. It seems i cant put the end nut on the link bar, seems its to short? Does the car need to on the ground for me to do it? Or am i doing this correct?

If you put a jack under the lower A-arm and slowly jack it up, it should get it to where you need it to put the lower sway bar end link nut on. That's how I did it anyway

You SHOULD be able to snug the bolts on without the suspension loaded, but the proper procedure is to install at ride height, with the suspension loaded.

With my car on a lift (not lowered though) I could just get enough threads on to keep everything together, but to tighten it properly it's gotta be loaded.

The suspension should be loaded when you install the cars. Not only does it make it easier, but it also helps the endlink bushings set correctly and prevents any damage. As suggested above, carefully jack the A-arms up or invest in some drive-on ramps, which will make everything easier.
