Default Rear shock compatibility

Hi guys, I have a rear set of shocks for a '96 RS Camaro brand new, and was wondering will they work on a 2000 SS Camaro?

For rear shocks, you can go as far back as 3rd gen shocks and add them to the LS1 4th gen
