how do i remove the boot from the front shock/springs

Default how do i remove the boot from the front shock/springs

i am getting frustrated and dont want to brake anything. was following ls1 how to and im at the last part i took the nut off the end of the shocks to get the rubber boot thing off and its not coming off... see picture below.
what do i do i been trying to pull it off and its not coming out

this is annoying doesnt in all the videos everyones boot just pops off should i try un compressing the springs and standing clear??? maybe it will pop off. i am getting so pissed off

I pulled off the top bracket, spring, and bottom seat as one shot, left the spring compressors on, slid it right on to the new shock.

Guess I got lucky?

haha i guess soo... the rubber boot behind the nut on the end of the shock wont come off. i just want to get this done.
