Stock TA/CAMARO springs compared to WS6/SS springs? I know they got the better shocks, but are the springs any stiffer?

I believe SS's/WS6's have more aggressive spring rates than the Z28's and T/A's but I'm not 100%. Maybe someone who knows for sure can chime in however, I can't seem to find a straight answer myself.

'98, '99 and early '00 WS6 had 1LE springs, which were stiffer than the springs on the later WS6, or a base Z28/Formula.

For SSs it depends on if they were optioned with the Eibach/Bilstein combo. Non-optioned cars had normal Z28 suspension.

I have heard this same thing for SS ars as well. My car seems to be noticeably heavier sprung than some 01/02 WS-6 cars I have been around.

Yes, also true for SS thru early 00, unless as noted an optional suspension was chosen (year specific).
