Default modified stock rack

hey i deleted my ps and just cut the lines coming outta the rack and crimped them, i wanted to do a manual rack but to mount them i was told it moves the rack foward and my dowpipe humps around my stock rack so i dont think a manual rack would fit...

problems i would like to fix, make it easier to steer and get rid of the **** ton of play in my steering, ive heard of people packing grease into them, but i would like some feedback from anyone who has successfully improved thier stock rack for manual steering

thanks
