Default Alignment??? koni/strano autox

Hi i have a 2001 SS Just installed koni /strano setup. Control arms are stock.
Was told to max out my camber and caster and set toe to 1/8 out for autocross. I was told that my caster shouldn't be able to go much past +5 and it was capable of above +6. I set it to 5 because i knew it was a sure thing and didnt know the pros or cons of more. Also i was able to max out my camber to -2.2 on both sides. From what i have found most people don't seem to exceed -1.5. Is there reason for that? Did i go too far? Thanks

That's good. I kept my toe even since I daily drive, but I'd probably change it to that toe out now if I got the chance.

Although since I also do spectator drags, I don't want too much quick movement. If I was autox only I'd def do it.

You won't chew up your tires either. My tires actually wear much more evenly now. That horrible stock alignment does a number to your outside edge of your tires.

I do drive it on the street but it will be lucky to see 3k miles. How bad will it be on tires?Would it be worth it to toe it to 0? I dont expect to get 10k out of tires if i could do 6k i would be more than happy. It is amazingly responsive right now i dont know if i want to give that up. With the koni/strano spring and bars, SFC ,STB, all new bushings and the alignment i have it is more than i could have ever imagined. Well worth every dollar. Amazing!

That's a good alignment for autox. I wouldn't worry too much about what that random guy said a few posts up, lol. Your tires will be fine.
