problem installing the BMR tubular SFC's...
I currently have the car on jacksstands(1 on each corner, a-arms & rearend).
After I bolt the rear portion to the lca and try to lift the front portion to mate with the front section of the subframe it does not land squarely on the "pad". The tubes are being interefered by the "lip" of the body. Is this normal or will massaging/cutting of this lip be necessary?
thanks,
jerry

All of a sudden, inexpensive doesn't appear to be such a great deal, now does it.
I can say that because I have BMR boxed subs on my car.
I actually wedged mine into place. That was a very dumb thing to do. But hey, I was a rookie ...
I also had to significantly modify the the rear mount to have the cradle even fit around the LCA mount.
I suggest you not worry so much about the sub fram landing square on the front frame. I would mark it and trim the small amount of excess from the BMR SFC pad to make it fit the frame.
JMHO ...
