2002 transam rear shock bushing placement?

2002 transam rear shock bushing placement? Installing new rear shocks and just want to make sure the bushing is placed right. Now that being said are both rubber bushing supposed to go on the side that's under the rear hatch? So in the trunk are it would look like {()()}
