Default Strange front shock settings

What is everyone running their fronts at? I have DA's w/ 300 springs, and I'm beginning to wish I would have gone with a 250 or less. It rides rough and the bumps in the road are killing me. I figured I'd try some different settings before swapping springs.

FYI its not the spring rate, these cars come stock with a 292lbs/in spring rate, its the non-gas charged drag shocks.
I (and many others) am running 550lbs/in springs in the front and they ride great on the street, FAR better than my friends QA1s with 300lbs springs did. Why? Im running shocks that can damp the springs.

Where do you have the settings at on the shocks? Like others have said it is not the springs but the shocks that are giving you the harsh ride. I would set the rebound and compression settings right in the middle and see how it drives and adjust from there. They are easy to adjust so play with the settings till you find a tolerable ride. The settings you use on the street will not be optimal at the track.

Comp was set at 3, and Reb was at 4. I've took Comp down to 2 and am going to try that to see how it feels.
