Off brand springs are usually "off brand" for a reason. By looking at the auction details, I can tell you that their claimed "450 lbs/in Front and 250 lbs/in Rear" rates are extremely ridiculous. That puts the front at a very soft rate with the rears at a very stiff rate. Solid axle cars need a softer rate out back than this because it won't allow the rear to move around the way it should. Also, you cannot determine the quality of a spring that costs this little. There is no telling what materials were used or how long they will hold up. We offer lowering springs using some of the best quality materials with a LIFETIME warranty against sag or defects. Yes, they cost a good bit more, but we also have proven results, great customer feedback, and quality we can stand behind. Our rates are 550 lbs/in linear fronts and 160 lbs/in dual rate rears.

That being said, budgets are in place for a reason, so I understand looking for options that are affordable.

I would sooner rather cut my stock springs than buy cheap knock-off lowering springs. In fact, I did.

I will never understand why people are willing to put junk parts on their cars. If you want to lower it wait a few weeks and save for some good springs.

Leave fleabay for the ricers.

I wouldn't run the Eibachs either FWIW

If your trying to save some money and drop the car a good amount look into K-Sport springs, I do not personally run them, but they get good reviews for most makes and models. Their a 1.8in drop f/r for our cars, and are a progressive rate. When I was seeking to lower my car I was seriously considering them, they'll cost around $120 but are of a higher quality than ebay springs. Just note that shocks are far more important than springs when lowering your car, especially 1.5in or more.

1.8" drop + progressive rates + no listed spring rate = trouble.

I completely agree, that's why I'm saving for some Strano's . Just figured I'd mention them, probably a higher quality than ebay springs haha, and they're really cheap.
