I've been seeing good things about brakemotive and at a decent price.il prob get their pads/rotors. Now jus need to decide if I should get slotted,drilled or blank rotors. The slotted and drilled are plated. Anyone else run their products? Thx in advance

I was thinking of hawk hps or plus actually but the deal on rotors/pad combo is pretty good. I actually like blanks a lot better but they don't have any coated blanks right now -__-

Slotted if you drive it hard, blanks if you don't. General consensus is never to get drilled.

I'm looking into switching out my rotors and was contemplating either slotted or drilled, with drilled being my preference. Why is slotted preferred? Kinda liked the look of drilled over slotted.

I went slotted only because they look a little better than blanks, and I'm not going to run my street brakes on the track anyway. I think they're a great deal, we'll see how they hold up.

U def can get both. Some folks on here are worried about stress cracks from the drilled rotors. They can happen, but from what I've seen only in cases where inferior blanks from china were used as the rotor from the get-go. I researched this topic endlessly, just to conclude that the stress cracks from drilled rotors was more of a fluke than anything else. Now they also have "dimpled" rotors which aren't drilled all the way thru, which is another option if your concerned about the cracking issue.

The slotted rotor design is also supposed to reduce brake fade and help cool the rotors as well. People prefer it over drilled because they think they dont have to worry about the stress cracks that goes along with the drilled ones. Me personally, I have both drilled and slotted rotors, and they're holding up great. I think they are the way to go, plus they look badass.

Modern drilled rotors add no real tangible performance benefit given today's pads but take away from the structural stability of the rotor. The first part has the potential to be false given the brake materials, but as for the second....

Hopefully getting mine on in the next week or so. I bought brakemotive pads and rotors and goodridge stainless steel braided brake lines front and rear so hoping the brakes will be a lot firmer and responsive

I am running a set of brakemotive drilled/slotted for over half a year..the car has seen numerous track days, speeds 130+ into 55 mph turns.... my rotors are fine..
People honestly need to get over that "drilled " crap...

Amg's and bikes have been running them for years without issues.. i drive my z hard and love my brakes..

I jus ordered their slotted rotors/pads front + rear. Can't wait til they get here so I can test them out and finally change my warped d/s rotors

I had brakemotives' drilled/slotted rotors on my old car and they were nice. Never had any problems what so ever. No cracks either. And I drove my car like I stole it. Fwiw...

Quick question sorry for the hijack but on my rears i pit the driv side on pass side and vice versa.

Other then asthetically wrong, anyone see a potetial issue with this.
