Just ordered lots of goodies from Strano!
How's it going guys. I'll be returning from Afghanistan in a little over 2 months, and have been starting to compile parts for my baby. I have already ordered LT's, full exhaust, and a lid. I'm also looking out for an LS6 intake and plan to P&P my TB as well as get a dyno tune by Speed Inc. Goals are mid 12's and a pretty quick autox/road race car.
I have never done any autox or road racing previously. I grew up at the drag strip and still love the 1/4 mile. However, I am stationed at Ft. Lewis, Washington and will be staying there once my contract is up. Very close to me is a full road course, as well as a location where SCCA autox is held monthly. That being said, I am planning on getting into both of these scenes. I don't plan on being competitive, just going to have fun.
Yesterday I ordered the beginning of my suspension parts from Strano.
Koni 4/4 sport shocks
Strano Springs
UMI dbj adj LCA's with roto/roto
UMI LCA relo brackets
Strano hollow sways
UMI 2 point tubular SFC's.
Once funds allow, I will be ordering a UMI torque arm with relocation kit, UMI panhard bar, and a nice set of wheels.
Can't wait to get home and put all of this stuff on. It has been too long since I've owned an LS fbody!

Yeah Sam is awesome. He helped me to choose the parts that best suited me and was very nice to deal with. All my future suspension purchases will be done soley through him.

Where in Crown Point are you? Im sure I've seen your car before if you have lived there for awhile. I lived in Cedar Lake all of my life and am always in Crown Point. Do you go to the meets at Buddy and Pals or KOTS or anywhere?

talk to sam, i would go straight with a watts link and skip the adjustable panhard rod.
also, if you do, fyi, sam's adjustable rear sway bar is a better match with the watts link.
