There is not currently a strut tower braces that will clear a FAST 102. It's been borught up to multiple sponsors, and none of them have stepped up. I'm not sure why, you would think UMI, BMR, or spohn would jump on such a simple item to make, that no one else offers.

How much clearance is there between the hood and the fast intake? Could that have anything to do with it?

Less than .5" between the cowl and the intake, not sure about the hood as I can't see when it is closed. LOL

BMR I believe said they were working on it.

Is their enough hood clearance to shim the STB with some washers and longer bolts... enough to clear the intake?

from what i have been told no washers will not work/ 6 litter said they may try to work on it. who ever comes out with it a good looking /working one first will get most of the sales i do not like the 6 litter in the middle of the one they sell for stock mainfold now.

How about get a cheap founders one, cut the center out of it and weld in another section with a slight hump in it to cleat the manifold.

Okay I'm going to clearly say this so there's no misunderstanding, This is constructive criticism, nothing more.
Sorry, but somebody forgot the part were you think through a idea first.
FYI, it clearly visible that there's not enough exposed thread on the studs for the nuts to full engage the studs. IMO, first find a way to do it right without taking short cuts and then you have a product worth selling.
