I have a 1999 TA WS6. I'm changing out the steering rack to a manual rack.
How do I know which rack I need. Rack Drs list one rack for the F41 and another rack for the FE2, FE4,and FE7.
Are all the WS6 have the same suspension?

mine was the FE2/FE4 one. i have a 99 as well.
open your drivers door and look for the sticker in the door jam with all the 3 digit codes on them, find which one you have and buy that one. the F41 is for the V-6 though

I don't have the door sticker anymore
The rack has 26048277 R/2 on it.

ok, well like i stated earlier, i replaced mine with the FE2/FE4 rack, you will be able to tell the difference between the 2 that Autozone sells. they sell one for the F41 (V6) and the FE2/FE4(High Performance Suspension package, all V-8's). the angle of the pinion that the steering shaft goes in to is at a 45 degree angle for the V-8 and at a 60 degree angle (points more towards the top, while the FE2/FE4 is more slanted).

Went to the dealership today and they ran my VIN.
I have the FE4 suspension.
The F41 is for v-6 cars.

Bringing this back from the dead but I also bought one from rack doctor with part number 26048277 r/1 stamped on it. Did you ever find out what the correct one was? Thanks.

my problem is i see two different steering gear part numbers for FE4; 88991056, and 26062311i cant tell the difference between the two.
