MWC... only way to go. We manufacture a true subframe connector- not something that bolts to the LCA bracket and runs down the rocker.

I have no personal experience with any frame connectors in the fourth gen camaros, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I am familiar with frame connectors in older muscle cars though. I was very surprised to find many of the frame connectors for the 4th gen camaros run along the rocker panels. Any other set of connectors I have seen run from the front frame to the rear frame about centered between the rocker and the drive shaft tunnel.

The MWC connectors impress me and would be my choice. I intend on fabricating some similar to theirs because I work in metal fabrication for a living.

UMI has the best customer service, you are correct there. I have given them all my business to date, and will do so in the future.

MWC's SFC design is interesting. While I am sure it is stronger, that doesn't really matter. UMI claims to have several cars running their SFC's in the 9 and 8 second range.

Another vote for UMI. I have their 2 pt bolt ons and I definitely noticed a difference. Great Customer support as always.

Be sure to think ahead when doing SFCs..planning on doing a tunnel mount torque arm? Then I'd highly recommend 3 points. Even then IMO they're a great upgrade from 2 points just for extra strength!

And as far as brand,UMI makes some great products, have excellent service and are reasonably priced!

We have had guys run 7s in the 1/4 mile on our boxed subframe connectors so there is not doubt that they are plenty strtong enough to do what you want. For the affordability and performance they are hard to beat. IF there is anything we can help with let us know.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments, we appreciate it

We try to accommodate all racers with our products, this is why we offer boxed, tubular, 2-point, 3-point as well as bolt in and weld in versions.

The boxed and tubular will perform the same, The tubular set is lighter and can't be seen from the side of the car. The boxed version is about 4lbs heavier and hangs 3/8" below the pinch weld under the door. Either set will work well and fit great.

If I can help anymore please ask. Thanks!
Ryan
