Default still looking for cts v calipers? Look here

here are 2 options...

1) o'reillys auto parts can get remanufactored ones. they look like ****. they come with the pins and retainers. they do not come with the crossover brake lines that connect the left and right sides of the calipers. you have to get this made or find at a junk yard. gm only sells it with the caliper. my bill was around 350 dollars and they took my stock calipers as cores.

2) my "source" was somehow able to order me a pair. these are brand new and cost me 189 a piece wholesale. they do not come with the pins and retainers. these can be obtained from chevy dealer or parts store.

these are scheduled to arrive this thursday. I will check them out and update this thread. the remans are going back

if all works out I might set up a deal with my source to buy several sets at a better price and start selling these on ebay. if that doesn't work out I will announce my source.

If these are already available again everywhere then I am a dumbass for not doing my research.lol

Just trying to help out.
please forgive all the typos. I'm driving back home using speech to text

It would be cool if the 6 piston calipers were this cheap.

I work at a Chevy/Caddy dealership. I checked about a month ago and no one had them. Then last week there were plenty in stock, I ordered them and had them 3 days later. I had 155 in each caliper and 35 in each clip kit. It was like $410. I picked up new take off rotors off of ebay for 30 bucks plus 40 shipping.

Or 2010+ Camaro calipers are about 200 or so each. Aren't they the same 4 piston calipers? I think they use an larger bolt to bolt them on though.

^^^This. I think they told me there were 31 sets avail. from tenn. warehouse. I guess everyone needs to get them while they can. Im assuming every chevy dealer can get them. Im not fooling with it anymore, my wife laughed when I told her my plans. you know what kind of laugh I mean. its like a reality check.

....also my brake upgrade just went on hold......test fit and my 18" wheels aren't big enough on the inside diameter...

ADR MSPORTS DONT WORK!!!!! 18x9.5

and sorry if I withheld my "source" this morning I've been calling everywhere I could think every other day or two for the last month and a half. Didn't want to make it tooooo easy after all that.

According to everyone that has tried it, yes. I would think that due to the larger contact surface area and more pistons it would require less pressure to do the job and the factory parts should be more than fine. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Any GM dealership should be able to order them if you pay up front.

I ordered mine brand new from Amazon, Prime eligible so no shipping and no tax (of course). Paid $104 for the driver's side bare caliper and $96 for the passenger side. Last I checked, there's a wait on them now.

Are these prices for the '09 and newer 6-piston calipers? Or the '08 and older 4-piston calipers?

I'll go ahead and assume the price is for the 4-piston calipers... Thanks.
