Default Why is my 9in shifting fwd n backward...input please...

Hello, I recently finished up by build (in sig) and when I turn right my right rear tire will rub on the front inner fender!! Or it will shift when I go in reverse.

I checked my UMI LCA's, I checked the rear shocks, I checked the LCA relocation brackets, I checked the UMI adj phb, the SLP tq arm and UMI tq arm relocation mount. All bolts are TIGHT! What can it possibly be? It's not shifting side to side but more like turning on an axis some how and it seems like when I turn right the rear turns left and rubs the inside fender! What gives?

Any help will be appreciated.

wow, that is a huge shift. i would suspect first the LCA and then the panhard rod. i would then move to the torque arm, but you already said they are tight. are the LCA adjustable? how is your pinion angle?

what wheel and tire combo do you have?

offset?
back spacing?
tire size?

They are stock 17's/275's no spacers, the LCA's are non adjustable, The PHB is adjustable but it's TIGHT, so is everything else. I don't get it.

It is a spooled 9" can it be binding this bad? But when I turn left it turns ALOT quicker like its coming around. WTF can it be cause I'm puzzled. Last night I unbolted the PHB and adjusted it so it pushed the rear a Lil to the left side of the car and give it clearance and it still did it.

Check your bushings in the LCA's and PHB. Just because the bolt is tight doesn't mean the bushing isn't ruined and causing the rear to move around.

Thanks for the input fellas much appreciated. Turns out the LCA relocation brackets had to be welded because the spool was actually moving them lol
