From the installuniversity website:

Update: Newer manuals suggest using 80 ft-lb so we have updated the following paragraph to reflect those changes. We are leaving the above paragraph like it is for comparison purposes. We also suggest using locktite as more and more people seem to have nuts backing off of the bolts.
We simply tightened the bolt head to 80 ft-lb while one of us held a wrench on the nut. Then we swapped and tightened the nut to 60 ft-lb while one of us held a wrench on the bolt head. Don’t forget to do bolts on both ends.

You probably want to go in there and make sure they are torqued down to proper specs or the bolts could possibly back off and cause rattling/clunking.

I always use nyloc nuts and tighten them till there is barely any drag against the bushings. 80ftlbs will smash the bushing and pin the arm in the mount and restrict movement. You don't want the arms binding in the mounts if you are doing any kindof racing.

ill try that first since the lcas came with nylon nuts and see if it makes any clunking noises

They will probably rattle a little bit. But just tighten them up slightly till the rattling stops.

If this is true then I definitely want to know too since I am going with LCA's soon. Rod ends for me though.
