Default Koni/Strano Stance

I figured I'd post some pics of my ride height with my ol' rear tires. They were 295/40R18's which come to 27.3" and the fronts are 275/40R18's. I have purchased some 315/35R18's which will be going on soon.

I wish I would have ran a 40 in the rear. I have a 35 on my 18's and it looks like a little rubber band tire.

My exact reasoning for going with a taller tire. It looks better and fills up the wheel well nicely. I'm going with Toyo TQ's 315/35R18 which is still a bit bigger than stock size so it'll still have some meat.

On a smooth road, it's a dream. On rough roads, it's a bit rough for my tastes. I was debating whether or not to go with Koni/Stock Springs/BMR 1" lower A-Arms but I don't know anymore - too much hassle and more money.

Do you have any issues with your abs running that size? I had to run a 35 to match my 17's up front so my abs would still work.

The 40 series look really good, do the front tires rub?

No I didn't. The difference between the front and rear was minimal and within the tolerances.

Thanks. I didn't like the way the popular tire sizes for 18X10.5's looked - like the 315/30R18.

Thanks. I'm glad I took a chance on running the taller tires on the Koni/Strano setup.

I hear a slight rub every blue moon when turning the wheel at extreme turns. You could go with a 265/40R18 - it's jus a tad smaller in diameter and width.

Thanks again. I'm still thinking about it!
