Default BMR Torque Arm Relocation Crossmember adjustment questions

I have one of the BMR Torque Arm relocation crossmembers. In the instructions and on the forums, people reference the "factory setting" for the adjustment on the relocation crossmember. Which set of holes are the same as the factory height? Also, what set of holes does everyone start with? (I'm assuming factory?)

Each car will want a little different instant center which is what you are adjusting by changing the mounting position on the front of the torque arm. I would start off by mounting it in the 3rd or 4th hole up from the bottom which should be real close to the factory location and play with it from there. The higher you mount the front of that torque arm on that crossmember the harder it is going to hit the tire but the shorter it will carry the power out. The lower you mount the torque arm on the crossmember the softer it will hit the tires but the further it will carry the power out.

I hope this helps you out some if not give us a call here at the shop and talk to Kevin who is our 3rd an 4th generation specialist here.

So hitting harder is good for a good prepared serface but on say unprepared serface hitting it softer is better?
