Default Replacement Brakes for 98 WS6

What kind of brakes should I get to replace the front pads. I have no idea what are on there, but I know they need changed soon. I have drilled and slotted brakes, not sure if that makes a difference as far as type of brakes I should pursue, but Im thinking OEM from the local GM dealer.

Anyone have any better brands or suggestions?

I wouldn't go with OEM. I like zlow's recommendation. I got Hawk HPS brakes and they perform very well for a street/performance pad. Ceramics won't perform as well, but they will dust less. Although the HPS dust is easy to clean off the wheels. Some brake dust residue I've ran into in the past gets caked on and very difficult to remove.

I agree.

Duralast Gold ceramics are also decent enough for an inexpensive pad as long as you aren't doing autocross or road races. That's what's on my car now, when they wear out and I replace both pads and rotors the car will get Brakemotive next time around.
