Default c5 front brakes -scan tool

I was thinking about upgrading to c5 front calipers on my 2000 t/a ws6. I was reading in my book and also doing some searches on this site about this swap.
My book says that if your car has traction control system you cannot bleed the system without the use of a tech-1 or t-100 scan tool.Does that mean after a rebuild or replace the front calipers I have to have my car flat bedded to a dealer or mechanic that has that tool to bleed it?

You do not need tech 2 or scan tools for a C5 conversion. You just bleed it as normal. Don't let the master run dry. Now if you mess it up and run the master dry then yeah you will likely need to take more drastic measures.
