Default Help: Lower Ball Joints and Outer Tie

What brand do I get? I was looking at Moog, but read some past threads. Some stated that they were good. Some said their junk. One said they were good in the past (that thread was 07-08) but now their junk because they're not made in the USA anymore. Haven't seen any recent posts on them.

Called dealer, they stated the ball joints are discontinued for a 00 F-body. Said AC Delco was the next best. Do I get all Moog, or should I get GM tie rods and Ac Delco ball joints. What is the best overall? Also thinking of replacing the inner tie rods and upper ball joints too? Also what about Raybesto brand?

I have all Moog on my Trailblazer and have zero complaints, and I have a pile of Moog parts ready to go in the Camaro also.

Moog or acdelco will work fine. Grease able ones are nice and should last a long time if properly maintained.

New Moog inner tie rods are $80 for the pair. A whole rebuilt steering rack with new inner tie rods from RackDoctor is $120.. Think about that.

I'm about to redo my entire front end with all Moog. It's going to be a hell of a fun day

Yes, it's true that some Moog parts are now, SADLY, made "off shore". However, Moog is still the preferred brand, because their parts are still made to higher standards than the less costly, "house brands" that all the big box parts stores sell...

I just got my Moog lower ball joints yesterday. They feel solid for sure. Still need to order the upper ball joints and tie rod ends.
