Default inexpensive replacement rotors

I have to replace the stock front rotors on the 98 SS. It's a garage queen. Not doing any track day's, not racing, not doing much of anything.

I see NAPA has them for $37 each.

are these decent enough?
is there something better for a LITTLE more money?

thanks!
Jeff

WS6Store Rotors are $195 for the set. Black zinc coated. Drilled, slotted, drilled and slotted, plain.

Brakemotive is like $175 I think w/pads. Zinc coated as well. Can get them slotted or drilled or drilled and slotted.

Not anymore. Every brake rotor I've seen has been made in China. I am running Autozone rotors on the rear though.

When it comes to brakes I don't like to go for the cheep stuff. I want the ability to stop good without any problems. Cheep rotors warp quickly. Spend the money and get good ones. You get what you pay for.

If you're not doing anything nuts, then just go with the Napa ones. My car is a daily driver, and I have about 50k miles on cheap parts store ones, and they have held up fine.

I have premium autozone rotors and they stop smooth after many years of hard stopping.

I wouldn't call the WS6Store rotors low quality.

Brake Motive would be another good choice.

W-body rotors are from china too, they are basically all the same unless you get Brembo or the really high priced rotors.

Funny you should mention that. When I was helping my brother slap on his Brembo rotors a couple years ago, the box said "Made in China". Needless to say, he was kinda pissed about that.

WTF I guess they are all made in China now. No wonder I'm selling so many parts, my products are still made by me in the USA. I have been contacted by Chinese companies that want to manufacture my parts, but I'm not giving them a cut of my profits.
