Default Madman shock mount issue

In February I ordered strange coil overs and mounts from madman racing. Last night I go to weld the shock relocation brackets, good thing I checked before welding because even with the rubber gasket on the shock trimmed it still wouldn't even come close to fitting. Has anyone else had this issue? Are the brackets made for a different shock? Sorta pissed considering I bought everything from them thinking it would work well and have 0 issues.

Never received a call. I would be more than happy to help with your issues but you have to call me.
